"Do we really know what it's like to see the world through our neighbours' eyes?"
Morgan Spurlock's 30 Days six part series (Season 2) started tonight on More 4. I've been waiting for this to come out and I almost missed it otherwise I would have posted a heads-up earlier (sorry!)
I'm sure everyone has heard of his movie "Supersize Me" and this is similar... Quote:
Season one covered Minimum Wage, Anti-ageing, Muslims in America, Straight Man Living in a Gay World, Off the Grid and Binge drinking Mom, although the last one I obviously managed to miss Tonight episode was Jail. Never one to shirk a challenge, the first film sees Morgan Spurlock swap his comfortable home, as well as his freedom, for a tiny 10 by 7 feet prison cell with up to three other inmates. Next week he covers Immigration - we'll see the unlikely pairing of a border patrol guard with an illegal immigrant Mexican family in East Los Angeles. I haven't yet watched one of these that hasn't moved or amazed me in some way - a really fantastic documentary. If you liked Supersize Me, then you have to see some of these! More information as well as clips can be found on the More4 website.
