"Inaccessible boot device" BSoD ?
Right then, here's the score.
As you may remember, I had a system go titsup.com a while ago. Replacing the CPU didn't do any good, neither did swapping the PSU. So, I managed to get my hands on another PC. One of better spec, but less RAM. No matter thought I, I'll transplant my good working hard drive into it, boot to safe mode and load new mobo drivers, boot to Windows and reload all the other drivers. *tilt* Windows starts booting, then I get an Inaccessible boot device blue screen of death. Anyone know of a way I can get around this and persuade Windows to boot? It's Windows 2000 Professional, fully patched. I really don't want to have to trash it and start again.
