Default Peppered lamb leg steaks

Found this in Gordon Ramsey's cookbook and combined it with a scaled down version of his linguine and anchovy dish, and a few tatties.

Ingredients:

Lamb steak
Peppercorns
Olive oil

Cherry tomatoes
1 red onion
1 red chilli
1 garlic clove

New potatoes.

Butter and Parmesan if you want.

Cooking:

Put potatoes in boiling water.

Crush the peppercorns and put on a plate. Press the lamb steaks (both sides) into them to coat them. Put to one side.

Chop up the onion, chilli and garlic and halve the tomatoes. Fry the first three things in olive oil and after a couple of minutes add the tomatoes. Put on a plate and add a little more oil to the pan. Cook the steaks for a couple of minutes each side.

Drain the potatoes and add a nob of butter.

Put some Parmesan shavings on the veg.

Done!

To make the anchovy and linguine dish, put chopped anchovies in with the onion, add olives and capers (drained and rinsed) with the tomatoes, and throw together with linguine at the last moment.
