34R is pretty much right for me, or 34 waist 32 leg if it has a leg measurement so it's not too tough...

Where I struggle with is shirts - they design shirts by neck size usually hence 18" usually is made for larger people so I have to tuck 20square feet of shirt into my trousers!

I've ripped shirts on the back of my arm seem which sucks.

I can't say I feel your pain Sinead as my "issues" aren't as bad as yours I guess but I do know clothes shopping is a pain.
