Angry More wirless problems

I'm using WPA security in both dual boot XP and Vista in the workshop.

Some time it works and sometimes it doesn't. It normally doesn't when I need it the most like last night I had 4 PCs to fix in the workshop.

When I connect, it finds the access point (signal around 50%) but fails to connect to the internet. I then re-input the security key. No joy.

Sometime it comes on after 30 minutes but nothing at all last night. I had to download everything from the house and burn the downloads to disk..

I'm hinking it has something to do with assigning or renewing IP addresses so wondering if assigning static IP addresses would make a difference.

Failing that, I might just ran that CAT5 cable from the router to the workshop as it's costing me time.

Any ideas?
