Quick! School me on Jap food!

Tonight I am being taken to Sapporo Teppanyaki and I am a bit nervous about the food!

I have had a poke about the menus and whatnot but I really dont know what flavours I should be expecting. I am really intolerant of spicy food and I really am not a fan of fishy fish so I need a bit of guidance on what is safe!

Come on BD Foodies, help me out!
