you know, the sort of bargain you tell everyone about because you can't believe what a great deal you got.
the sort of bargain that makes you smile every-time you think about it.

today i bought this bike

an Apollo FS.26S, (with dual suspension, 21 speed Shimano gears, 7005 Aluminium frame, Suntour branded front fork, and disc brakes) that Halfords advertise at £149
I also got a free £20 cycle accessories voucher, a £10 Halfords voucher and a years servicing (for the bike, fnar fnar) and guarantee
and paid the grand total of...
£60!

it was 'second hand' because it had been traded in for a larger frame after the first owner realised it was a bit to small to ride comfortably!

yay!
