just had this emailed round in work and thought BD would be a good place to post as I'm sure there are many people on this forum that would want to sign up to the petition. Below are some details and the link

NCH is one of the key supporters of the Campaign to End Child Poverty, and is urging the government to keep its promise and reach its target of halving child poverty by 2010 and eradicating it by 2020.

The next step in the campaign will call on the Chancellor, Alistair Darling, to make his next budget, a budget to end child poverty.

Please encourage your family, friends and colleagues to sign the online petition to ask the Chancellor to take the action required to combat child poverty. To sign the petition, please go to www.endchildpoverty.org.uk/action

NCH ’s aims to become an organisation which campaigns fearlessly on behalf of children and young people.
