Reading this thread makes me very glad I live with my parents
 They're only out intermittently as my Dad's only teaching part time now so 9 times out of 10 someone's in for a parcel. Plus we know the postman really well so he'll always try various neighbours before giving up. Nice to finally have a great postman.
