My Super Ex-Girlfriend
I watched this last night (thanks lovefilm.com), whilst starting doing some packing and sorting of stuff out.
What a good enjoyable film Rather surprised me, I was expecting it to be a bit too much of a chick flick, but it wasn't at all, just a pretty decent rom-com. I'd been recommended it ages ago by a co-worker but didn't know much about it other than starring Luke Wilson and Uma Thurman. Eddie Izzard made his appearance as the baddie, and my expectations of it went right up. He was as awesome as ever Without spoiling the plot, it revolves around Matt Saunders, just your average office worker, and Jenny Johnson, whom he dates briefly, only to discover she's actually the superhero G-Girl. All is great until he breaks up with her and discovers she's more than a little pissed. I think the main thing I learnt last night was never to date a superhero, or if you do, never ever dump them. Its not a good idea to piss off someone who has the power to tear you limb from limb.
