My trusty Sennheiser HD580 bargains have deadded themselves. The second pair I was using for spares are also deadded.

R.I.P.

However, this make a good excuse for me to get some more new headphones.

Bought the Shure SE530's last month - and they rock. Got the custom sleeves made for them and they are now a perfect fit. Made them sound even better.

So - something to match up or beat them.

Got a local good hifi place who will let me try various sets so once I have an Idea of what I'm looking for, I can go in and spend some time in the quiet room testing some out.

Got a headphone amp today as well. Sods bloody law that my HD580's die on me now.
