I've only ever managed to sleep once on a plane, and that was thanks to some painkillers/sleeping tablets on my last trip back from Florida. I'm fine going to the US, I just push myself till 10-11pm US time (about 3-4am UK time, pretty common for me anyway) and just get a good nights sleep. Coming back is harder though, I always end up having a mid afternoon nap for a few hours to see me through into the night on the day back. Never really feel it the next day back though.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. |
