My trusty flatmate brought to my attention, a couple of days ago, that the Durham branch of CAMRA are holding a beer festival this weekend so we're tootling off there this afternoon to drink twiggy beer and cider.

If I'd known about it sooner, I would have invited others to partake of the delights of the North East's finest ales but alas, two days notice isn't much time to organise a trip to the cold North for most of you. If anybody is in the area and fancies a beer with us, please make yourselves known

Unfortunately, I negelcted to send my membership renewal form off in time so I've lapsed and will have to pay the £1.50 entry fee

Edit: Certain members should expect MMS's with pictures of beer and burgers at some point
