E-mail etiquette in the workplace.

I occasionally get replys to my mails from my American collegues asking me what a word means. Think it's because I use words with more than two syllables

My vocabulary has increased a lot since I moved to Cambridge and I do try and integrate this vocabulary into my e-mails as it makes me sounds proper clever like
