Good Old Games

Just in case you may have missed a classic PC game from a few years ago. I signed up to the Beta this morning and got access to the front end. The premise is you can buy some old games that are either discontinued or abandonware for a small fee and it's all DRM free. Best of all, if you run Vista then they have been tested and guaranteed to run flawlessley. I have been listening to some gaming podcasts and the feedback has been nothing short of spectacular. Download speeds are pretty fast and the support is responsive and knowledegable.

Games are priced around between $2.99 - $10.00. Some of the games include Colin MCrae 2005, Fallout Series, MDK and they claim to have a load more titles coming such as Baldurs Gate and Diablo series. The plus side for me is that it's a direct download link for games so there is no resource hogging browser like Game Spy.

As it's still in Beta they must have some kind of IP check to log into the "Your Account" Section as I can't access it from work. I'll report further once I have downloaded a few old time classics. Great for installing on the lappy for when your working away
