Noise cancelling headphones

Now I actually caught an episode of the gadget show tonight. They tested some headphones as part of a challenge. They were displayed for literally 10secs and cost £30. He had a stereo blasting next to him and couldn't hear it. Did anyone catch the name of what they were. They said it once and then never again. Not on the website either.

Something like "used by american helicopter pilots". Just curious really
