4 was stupid at times because you would have enemies respawn before you could get to the invisible line. Like the level you search for al asard in the houses. You call in the heli it blows everyone up and they just re-spawn again inside before you get to the door.

That level was a PITA. One comedy instance of this is the ending, where troops spawn in the moving trucks!
