Day trip to Brighton - suggestions?

I've been a couple of times but as I'm taking Friday as my first day's holiday of the year to go, I want to have a little fun

I've been to the Pavillion and the aquarium before so I don't think I'll bother with those again. I can waste plenty of money on the beach/pier but apart from that I'm not sure what else there is to do. Any ideas?

And before you say it, I'm not going shopping and I already plan to spend a fair bit of time in the boozer.
