5 hours for films is roughly what I'd expect from my iPod Touch. I'm using it to my advantage as I've ripped the entire LOTR extended editions to my PC, and I'm going to edit out all the Frodo/Sam rubbish and turn it into a 5 hour fight scene to watch on the flight to Florida
