More car audio help, replacing speakers...
Right totally sick to the back tooth with my car speakers, not just because they are generally underpowered piles of **** but now the back parcel shelf speakers have developed an even more annoying rattle than before. Tried taking them out totally cleaning them and putting them back in but they're definitely now fubared.
So its really time to look at what i want to replace them with. I have very little idea what i need to buy Basically my knowledge goes as far as the speakers are 6" so if i buy some 6" speakers and wire them in i'll be fine right? Or wrong? What if i buy overpowered speakers by accident? Do i need an amp if i start messing around with after market stuffs? I will replace the radio eventually (i've been meaning to for a year really) as well. While i'm at it i thought about replacing the front door panel speakers and although because it's horrendously horrid outside and i dont have a driveway i couldn't take the door panel off i can see theyre 4" x 6" so again apart from buying aftermarket stuff that fits is their anything i need to specifically worry about? I'm just browsing caraudiodirect.co.uk and i'm assuming i just want to buy "full range" stuff to keep it simple? Already thinking if i do this i might as well buy a small sub Must stop thinking silly though Danke schön! |
