I didn't have much time to prepare. I asked her dad for his blessing that morning and then started sneaking crackers around, hehe.

At the Christmas party at the start of the month one of the crackers had a ring on a spring puzzle in it. The idea popped in to my head and I kept it. Put her engagement ring on the spring puzzle and popped it in to the cracker

When we opened the crackers we did both of ours at the same time and she ended up with both crackers I had to quickly snatch my one back

She pulled the puzzle out and, having seen it before, started to do it and then noticed what ring was attached, lol.

I dropped from my chair down on to one knee. I couldn't get my words out and think I just ended up mouthing them
