Firewall Recommendations

As my PC's now connected directly to my cable modem, I figure it'd probably be sensible to rely on a bit more than nothing/Windows Firewall.

Any recommendations? Needs to be free or at least acquirable free

And easy to remove without leaving loads of crap preferably! It's only a temporary fix until my flatmates make up their mind about a router.
