I'd be a bit loathed to buy second hand considering the 60gb PS3s are getting on a bit now. I'd be suspicious of the auction too if they're already saying it has problems!

If it does have to be a 60gb version though, I'd go somewhere like Gamestation or Game as afaik they both offer a year's warranty on pre-owned consoles.
