Default Wireless bridge thingy help

Now the GF has moved in, my printer, scanner etc. is being relegated from the lounge. No big deal, I have a spare computer to fire up when needed, and they aren't used very often anyway.

But, there's no easy way to route a network cable to the bedroom and I need two really - 1 for the printer (which has a built in print server) and one for the pc. I have a netgear wireless router that is being used to connect the GF's laptop.

Can I just get another wireless router and use as a bridge, or will that mean the laptop can't be connected?

Also, any thoughts on a video sender? I have a little tv in the bedroom with an hdmi inout that is just begging to be connected to something Ideally a freeview box connected to the lounge socket (why is the only flipping aerial socket the furthest possible distance from the bedroom ).

Cheers peeps
