Holiday - Cheap Drink in Barcelona

Hi,

I am off to Barcelona at the week end to watch the F1 ( no Ash clouds hopefully ! ) and after the racing I am hoping to go out in the evening in Barcelona.
I have heard that some bars offer drinks from 1 Euro up wards !
Does any know where the cheap bars are located.
I am staying not far from centre of Barcelona and Les Rambles.
