HDD Replacement

Well it's about time that I look into a new HDD for my media centre, 250GB just isn't cutting it any more so I'm looking to upgrade to at least a 1TB drive (the old 250GB drive will then become part of Phoenix's backup solution

).

I currently have a pair of 500GB drives in Phoenix (a Seagate and a Samsung) which have been remarkably reliable, but they're fairly old now and I don't know if the latest drives are as reliable (after many scare stories all over the place).

Any suggestions on what's good at the moment? Reliable but still giving good bang for buck?
