I can't really explain what this is about without totally giving it away, but I started watching this with no other pretext than 'it's a documentary about a guy who meets a girl on Facebook'. Sounds lame right? I thought so too and was very skeptical about how much I'd enjoy it. Luckily the person that recommended it often knows what he's talking about so I gave it a go. By about 20-30 minutes in I was thinking 'this is a bit weird and self-involved - why would they make a documentary about this?', but gradually it becomes more ominous and, frankly, a bit scary. By the end I was seriously doubting if it was a real documentary but there's very little to suggest otherwise either in the documentary itself or anywhere online. If it is then it was very well done and entertaining, if it's not, well.... kudos to everyone involved because that would make it a modern masterpiece. 8/10... as a documentary.
