Why are people such theiving scum?

My back light came off its mount on the way home. A passenger in a car told me they'd seen it happen just a few yards back as they went past me. Great I thought, be able to go back and get it...

Er no, in the two minutes it took me to get back along my route it was gone. Someone had already picked it up and had it away. ****ing theiving Croydon scum. I ****ing hate having to go through that place.

And to cap it off someone tried to have my saddle during the day as well :mad:

Just needed to vent.
