HD5670 multiple inputs
I'm having a mare (incompetence strikes again?!).
I have an HD5670 ATI card that has an HDMI socket, a DVI socket and a VGA socket. I use the DVI as the main output into my Dell monitor. I want to connect my Denon AVR2808 reciever so I can play films etc. through it. Unsuprisingly the card treats the HDMI as the primary display by default, but the denon won't take a signal without some tweaking. When I turn the PC on with both connected the Dell screen is blank because the login screen is being transmitted to the Denon. If I connect a normal TV with HDMI input to it instead the login screen appears, I can change the primary screen to the Dell, reboot and the login screen is on the Dell. Change back to the Denon and it ruddy well goes back to the Denon being primary Any thoughts?! Ta |
