District 9 *spoilers*

So I recorded District 9 on Ch4 last night and just watched it, or at least I watched about 1h53m of it until the PVR decided to scramble the channel

It was at the bit where Van De Merwe in the robot tells the prawn to go on and he'll hold them back - now I'm kinda predicting it all ends well with the ship flying off and his arm being sorted, but can anyone confirm this for me?
