Lost series 3 - What the deuce?

No, that's not a sub-title for the series, although it could be.

It seems that in the US they've stopped showing the series after episode six, and will show the rest twelve weeks later, as normal, as of February. Does this mean that we'll see the end of the series over here first? Either way, looks like I now have to wait a further six weeks to see episode seven.

Which is what I would have had to do anyway since I didn't download those first six episodes at all.
