Oh, and if anyone's using it, the patch which should fix TVersity's video support is here.

I don't bother using TVersity any more now I've got a PC hooked up to the TV. I find it easier to watch video though as I have the easy option to pause, fast forward, rewind etc, and I can select music easier just by browing the hard drive and picking what I want to listen to

I do like the new update though, now I can sign into messenger I'll actually be online a fair bit, though I still need to hook up a USB keyboard to use it properly. I'll seriously consider that keyboard add-on when it's released.

Support for that was added with this update - you can pause, rewind etc video's as they're being streamed or downloaded. Though obviously I've yet to test it

I'll give you that. As much as I love having access to everything with a remote, there's a lootttt of music to shift through. Still, it's a small price to pay to keep a PC out of the living room.

Ditto, if it's reasonably priced it'll be an easy buy

I'll have to buy a usb keyboard I think, the controller add on looks a bit odd so not sure about that and don't mind having a spare keyboard.

My main beef with the video was that I could never get the quality looking just right. Maybe I wasn't doing something right, but I followed all the guides, played with the codec settings, and it never seemed to be as sharp as when I watched it on the PC. It was also slightly dark in places, something I could easily adjust with color correction in media player.

Aye, I've got about 15GB of music, all neatly organised into artist, album folders, so much easier to decide what I want to listen to

I've found the ultimate use for the messenger integration. Means I get to talk to a guy playing Spiderman 3 when I'm meant to be working. Excellent distraction.
