I have Ultra DVD Creator and WinAVIVideoConverter installed, one of them was pants and the other was quite good. I think the latter was the best.

DVD Shrink to get around encryption and make the file a little smaller (nice for dual layer disks)
DVDx and the divx codec for encoding... got a few other apps like dvd fab but generally they're only for when the usual (above) method fails. |
