While its not a patch on the original, I dont think it is a travesty. As modern covers go, thats actually pretty good.

Finally got a chance to listen to this.
Wtf? His voice doesn't sound powerful enough and it's just not as emotional as the original. The original almost brings tears to my eyes with some of the lyrics. This.....:/ It's not the worst cover I've heard recently *spits*McFly - Don't Stop Me Now*spits* but

Interestingly The Goo Goo Dolls have a long record of recording cover versions themselves including Don't Fear the Reaper and Sunshine Of Your Love on their first album
