ARGH !!! I Want to be normal sized !!!
So I went on a mission today, to try and find a nice pair of going out jeans ( mine are getting really tatty ) and some new work trousers.
Not too much of a big deal you would think ? There's plenty about, just walk into a shop and pick some up...... MY ARSE !!! Because I am a stupid small size I couldn't find any in the right short arse leg length ( 28 " ) All I want to do is go into a shop and be able to find something that fits me On the upside all the size 8's went over my arse and I could do them up |

I'm not lucky enough to be able to fit into size 8's (yet, anyway! ) but I have just now accepted the fact that everything needs to be taken up before I can wear it.

I actually have rather short legs and an expansive midriff (in case you hadn't noticed ). Buying troosers can be somewhat troublesome since most manufacturers seem to think that if you have a 38 waist, you must be 6'6" tall and have a 34" inside leg. My inside leg is only 30-31" and trying to find 38"/31" troosers is not the easiest thing in the world.

I'm in a similar situation to you stan, I only have 30-31 ish inside leg and usually find trousers/jeans are a pain to find. I think I like US sizes more as I've lost 2 inches of my waist here

I have the opposite problem...
Trying to find trousers in 30/36 is a right bugger... Oi! Clothes manufacturers! Just because someone's slim doesn't mean they're a midget! grrrr...

Add me to that list - 29" inside leg and oversized rest of me. Used to be a place in town I got everything modified but that shut up shop a few years ago.

I have a wife who is a dressmaker
All my jeans/trousers have always been too long in the leg... so she takes them all up for me |

I think the moral of this thread is 'is there any such thing as normal sized?'
