Default Highly impressed with Scan

They haven't actually delivered my items yet (hopefully the good service will continue to that point)

However I emailed earlier to ask if they would be able to change my delivery to a Saturday as long as it can go out tonight.

I quickly get an email back to say that its been done.

I did only ask if though and as such didn't tell them to reroute it to home rather than work. However a 20 second wait on the phone and I was through to a human being who sorted things instantly and told me they would email me if there were any stock issues.

Very good service, very polite and very quick to answer the phone.

Having previously dealt with a few companies which don't have these things it was a pleasure to have good customer service at a price which undercuts the competition.

Fingers crossed I'll get a box of goodies tomorrow

Makes a change Always good to have quality customer service, so many companies scrimp on it.

I've had no problem with them either. Of their own initiative they offered me an RMA on some hardware I was having trouble with.

A good few years back I had a lot of problems with them trying to RMA a CPU which burned up and took a motherboard with it. I've heard they've improved a lot since then so this is good to hear.

I actually drive there a fair bit as when at uni its cheaper to drive than it is to have it posted! Inside is much the same as it always was but the people there have smiles on their faces and are always up for a bit of banter.

They also seem to all be wearing suits now. I really do think they are looking to become even bigger than they are now by taking their customer service to the next level, which is where pretty much all of their competition is lacking.

I've had a few bits and pieces from them recently and been very impressed with the level of service.

Consignment left them at 13.00 and is already on its way to the delivery terminus at Maidstone.

As long as they have corrected the delivery address this will be with me in record time

The last time I bought something from Scan, it was a motherboard that turned up. It was slightly squashed, but as the box was fine I assume it happened before Scan got it.

It's good that they are getting bigger - but I hope their customer service doesn't as they get bigger which unfortunately happens so much in companies. Hopefully they'll keep their values and keep their decent managers/directors and stay on the case. I don't buy much stuff for my computer (a couple of things every 2-3 years) - but I've had good experience from them...

Hope it all works out MB!
