Some of that was filmed just down the road from me

Looks excellent, never saw the original Joker film, so really looking forward to it.

Just to check, I presume that there are further films after Mr. Freeze? The last lot felt like they lost the plot at that point. Are we expecting to do another run through of the series before starting back at the beginning again?

If you've not seen Batman Begins, you must, must, must watch it Thats the first film after the Mr Freeze one, and it is, IMO, far superior to any of the other films.

It's the only one I haven't seen. I thought Batman begins was going back to the beginning of the series, and hence with this current series they are telling the story again? Granted it looks cracking, but what I was asking was if there was more in the Batman timeline after Mr Freeze. The Warner brothers cartoons are excellent and certainly delve a lot further into the Batman universe.

Ahhh.. nothing new chronologically in the Batman series post Mr. Freeze. They're taking the chance to re-do Batman, tying in quite nicely with the "Year 0" style re-telling of Batman as I understand it (not read them much)

I really wish they'd done the same for Superman. Rebooted the franchise complete. No rules. Now they're a bit stuck. With Batman I think they have lots of places to go that won't tread on the toes of the other films. Yes they're doing the Joker but you just can't have Batman without him and I think its going to be brilliant. I'm a bit worried if they decide to introduce Robin. I think I'd prefer this series to just be Batman.
