Name needed for our new little ..
... puddy cat ! ( hopefully ! )
Went up to the RSPCA today and we were hoping to get 2 little kittens. We wanted 2 so they could keep eachother company whilst we were both working. They had a board in reception showing what cats were there and they were all older cats ( 4+ ) and almost all already reserved, which was really nice to see. But I thought we could at least look at the cats and say hello. We went up to one cage and they was a lovely little puddy cat there without any details... she came right up to the glass and wanted a load of fuss made. So I asked the dude about her and she had only been in the re-homing cattery for 20 mins She has been rescued from her previous owners and the RSPCA have just won the case to take her into their care - she's 1 years old and LOVELY ! We made a load of fuss over her, she's still quite little and has bags of energy - she's also very confident and cuddly and we've reserved her Pending a homecheck, we should be bringing her home in a few weeks. We were going to get 2 cats ( 1 boy and 1 girl ) and were going to call them Borris and Doris but they said she's quite happy on her own so we'll stick with just the one Her name is Cassie but we don't really like it so any suggestions ? |

Aww She's lovely. Cassie is a sweet name.
Let me know how you get on with the homecheck, I was purposefully not going to the RSPCA cos i didn't think we'd pass one.

Cassie is okaaaaay but it's a bit too girly :/
Will update Vix - why do you think you wouldn't pass one just out of interest ? We filled in a form and told them about Jamie's allergy and they said it wasn't a problem - I think they just want to make sure you don't live on a main road or in a squat. |

Just cos we aren't at home all day, or don't they mind that with cats?

They don't mind that at all with cats - I told them we were both out for 8 hours during the day and they just said they would only give us cats 6 months old +.
Cassie is a year old so we're fine I did want kittens but thinking about it - she's still all little and cute but she's also litter trained |

I was actually thinking Pebbles is a really cute name for her but not sure how our Pebs would feel having the same name as a cat |
