Default Another Disaster

Another Major Disaster today, I crashed my mates van Not only did i crash his van he had just sold it, Not only had he just sold it but i had the New owner sitting next to me, On top of all that it was Completly my fault
I have driven literally thousands of vans & i Never crash, I feel Stupid & my Idiot badge gets bigger by the day
Took the dude down the petrol station to fill up with Derv whilst Jim dropped a motor off. The lane is real tight & as i pulled away i cut the corner to quick & scraped the sliding door on this stupid concrete flower pot thing. Am a Noob an Idiot a **** & i feel it inside.
Luckily the Dude still had the motor after renegotiation of the price. I have to make up the difference which is 75 quid. Nothing to you lot but a Huge chunk out of my weekly income.
I am hoping the New age remedy of starting a thread about it will make me feel a little better. Feel free to laugh though as i deserve the Humiliation.

Dumbass

Could have been a lot worse though and at least you're doing the right thing by making up the difference... sorry it had to be so much though

That's the problem with big vans, it's so easy to scrape the inside of them on tight corners. Sorry to hear about that - hope you can recover your costs through favours and other ways ASAP. It just proves that it doesn't matter how much skill or experience you've got you can still get caught out.

It Kills me money wise for around the next 6 weeks would you believe. I barely survive on what i get so any money coming out of it just kicks me right in the sacks. It'll be No trips out off roading, no money for heating as i am on a meter & beans or Egg on toast
Am used to being skint though so it still hasn't took the smile of my face

Dude, one huddy is bad enough, we don't need another one

Bad luck though. As Will says, scraping the side of a van is quite easy to and can catch you out pretty quickly.
