Floor space is no problem Zirax, did you particularly want to do the novice day (6x20 minute sessions so you'll have to go out when you're told to go out, plus a track full of people who don't really know what they're doing) or are you open to doing the proper day the day after instead (Open pit so go out as and when you feel like it, plus fewer nervous inexperienced types on track, but it's a little more expensive)
Would have thought the novice day will be road cars only. Having said that ours will be stripped out but still road legal (and driven to the circuit). If it's a big problem we can always do the Thursday instead which has none of the novice restrictions and (I think) will allow anything just about anything as long as it's safe and not not open wheel. |

I have checked and the open day does cover novice track drivers with instruction. I'm not worried either way really, the main thing being booking some instruction time and just getting some experience.
I mean I have been hooning around for six years, but no track time. Only concern is getting nutters on track on the open day. TBH I'm not sure what to expect |

The only problem you might have on the open day is that there could be some pretty quick machinery about. Will just mean you'll have to watch the rear view mirror a bit more and make sure you let them past in plenty of time on the straights.

What I was thinking was that I'd rather be on track with a bunch of professionals, so if I *** up, they know what to do to get around me, rather than panicking and making things worse.
Also I don't have to book a holiday off work if it's a Thurs, as I can ust skive college muahahaa

I would love to do the Open Pit day, depending on funds (it might be close enough to my birthday to get my parents to buy it for me, else I have no chance )

Now that the car has come through the sprint unscathed I've booked me and vix in the for the open pit day at Snetterton on the 27th. Anyone else still interested in joining us?
