****ing mosquitos
Just a bit of a pointless rant.
I've got a few days shore leave until the rig are ready for us to set up our gear for the new well. It's lovely to get a bit of R&R and lounge around for a bit having the odd beer (just to be sociable, obviously) but I'm being eaten alive by ****ing mosquitos. It doesn't seem to matter how many potions I apply to my pasty Scottish skin, the little bastards seem to love Jock blood /Rant over.

The bloody things love me. I always get bitten to buggery by them when I'm in Milan, last time I was there I woke up in the morning and the little sods and bitten me right across my shoulder blades and it was agony!
I'm off to South Africa on Safari in June and have already been to ask about Malaria tablets. Knowing how much the thing slove biting me and that I'll be in a Malaria zone I wanted to get that sorted. All I need now is some spray and a book the thwap the buggers. |

Remember to take Pheebs and her encyclopedia Thankfully, there's no malaria in Egypt or I'd be well and truly buggered.
They seem to love my lower legs. I can count 13 on my right leg from the knee down alone.

Remember the pictures I posted two years ago when I got bitten to buggery while putting the pool up in the garden? Little bastards like the flavour of Feekblood.
Stan - Use 100% deet, there is nothing else worth using.

Yes yes yes! I am!
I am free for any mozzy swatting abroad at anytime! Though I may require a G&T to keep me going... They tend to like me lots too so mebbe I can get their attention on me! Rumour has it (so the radio has been telling me), Mozzys are 3times more attracted to blue than any other colour. So avoid blueness. |
