I think it would because it would be making the router do more work, and they're be extra useless traffic being passed back and fourth.

Well went on TF2 and I had no loss...pings where fine. I'm not sure if it's because I have disabled them or what...

Gonna check my network speed incase it has had an effect.

With those settings off:

Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:

Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 2ms, Average = 0ms

Was playing for around 30 minutes.
