If parking fines carried points i'd have lost my license twice over by now i think :)
Probably could go in the bastard parking (although my parking is superb ) the bastard parking attendants keep ticketing me. I'm just **** at using parking meters and i'm paying through the ass atm....
I managed two tickets in one parking session (two different offences, not paying and displaying, then paying and over staying lol). and the other 4 other times, so currently i've paid probably about half the price of my car in parking tickets. Today if i had a gun and had the opportunity to shoot the attendant, i'm scared i probably would have I would generally say i am i very patient guy, but parlking tickets REALLY seem to wind me up the right way, and you don’t want to talk to me when i've just been given one . Anyone else as useless as me? //Hates edinburgh parking in general. Last edited by LeperousDust; 21-05-2008 at 22:02. |

St Johns Hill car park, cheaper than meters and no fines.

But you're right £2 an hour on the meter on princes street is pretty robbing although for me, if i parked in st Johns i might as well have walked to begin with!

It's more than that mondo, its technically £360 but if paid within a certain time limit its half price (how f***ing nice of them) so i've paid £180. And yes, i can buy a permit for £80, but the plan was not to buy a permit and not get fined, now if i buy a permit, and pay the fines, well thats twice as bad. I just need to avoid getting fined for another week (harder than it sounds it seems ).
Before anyone point the blindingly obvious out, yes i'm paying for a permit next year |

Its a lot fo stuff, hence my general anger. I can't see how £60/£30 is in anyway fair for 5 minutes... Money grabbing bastards thats all they are.

We're getting a traffic warden round here soon according to the local paper, we haven't had one for years and there are no real problems so it seems just a money making exercise
