Quite tempted as a DVD unit for my Gran so I can unbrick my Apple TV but it still fails big style by not being able to play mkv files above 480p. If you're looking to buy an Apple TV to go with the software then I still think that the IStar HD is a far better bet. If you already have an Apple TV then it could be a good bet though from my brief look it looks like they have collected and made an easy install for a load of software that is available for free and has been for quite a while. |

I only have mkv. Not many really. Planet Earth, Matrix, Transformers & Superman. None work well. Shame cos Planet Earth is stunning in HD.
