Default Tornado in Chorley

Just seen a Tornado sweeping across Chorley on the news
We've had Buckets & Buckets of rain but no Tornados, What about you ?

Crazy weather. On the way home it'd alternate between absolutely lashing it down and almost dry.

I read about a funnel cloud spotted in Merseyside / Lancashire today. Odd that they have a photo but have no idea where it was. It could have been a killer. The BBC said that if it touched down it may have been powerful enough to damage a tree, or a shed.

Yup problee me having a blonde moment. One of my ex boyfriends used to live in Northern Moor, so there was a Chor.....(something) not far. Thats probably what im confusing it with.

Most likely a library image. I doubt the BBC has any storm chasers on the books.

That sounds about typical for a UK tornado (F0 or less). Usually most of the damage is done when the tornado uproots a tree or a fence and deposits it through someone's roof.
