Default Radio 1 Streams

When Radio1 used to have listen again as Real streams, they were easy to rip - but now they use an (admittedly more flexible) flash player.

2 questions - are the old Real streams still kicking around, and does anyone know of a way to rip the new streams?

I use audacity and a SB Live or X-Fi and use the What-U-Hear channel to record. It's not a great method.

Not workable for me either - I want my headless server box to do the ripping.

Leo - That app also looks like a record what you hear type app (though a little bit cleverer I must say) correct me if I'm wrong. I'm looking for something I can point at a URL and let it take the stream directly.

I do have a Mac VM but I'd rather it be open source if possible

Turns out the old Real streams are still going for now, so I'm not done just yet. If someone does come across a way that isn't record what you hear then let me know

What do you need to record? Everything you'd need is on iPlayer now days anyway surely?
