This is where I Freak out

ICE CREAM MAKER

ICE ****ING CREAM MAKER +

My mates Missus got Ripped to bits by me for buying & using an Ice cream maker
She is one of these women that are bored all day so goes out & buys ridiculous things that she reckons she Needs
First it was a bread maker, Cost about 50 quid & makes ****e bread & real bread costs £1.65
Ice cream maker cost about the same & costs god knows for the ingredients & because she is a fat greedy cow puts far to much sugar in so it tastes like sickly sugary ****e Ice cream at Tescos costs a Quid a tub

ICE ****ING MAKER OMGG LOL

I should point out that this couple are both within my Humour circle & the Ripping goes both ways

B&J is rubbish ice cream. At least get Hargen Daz which is at least acceptable.

B&J tastes crap even though over 50% isn't ice cream to try and hide the ****e taste.

I borrowed a cheapie bung the whole machine in the freezer overnight jobbie. Ice cream was made with double cream and sugar, nothing else, ready in about 20 mins after a load of grinding and whirring and boy it tasted guuuuuuuuuuuuuuud. Frozen yoghurt was just yoghurt, cream and fruit and tasted amazen*. Sorbet was just sugar syrup and crushed fruit and also tasted grrrrrrreat.

*West country for amazing

To be honest, all the overpriced branded bollocks tastes crap compared to Asda's range of special and organic ice creams, £2, 1L tub. Obesity here I come.

I think the point is here, its an investment. You laugh at the initial outlay, but the ingredients cost maybe a few pennies. So whos laughing then? Assuming you go through a loaf a week (i go through more myself), you'll have made that up within the year. You'll be eating freshly baked bread (can't beat it) and know what's "in" your bread, or you could make special bread with different things in you'll pay over the odds for in the shops too. Quick google link of ideas.

The same obviously stands for ice cream too since its drastically marked up in price compared to ingredients, and is also full of a lot of hidden stuff which home made won't be .
