Labrador sighs are just the worst, especially when theyre sulking!

Thought I would share some of Marchants (the child I look after) dog Star, hes 6 now, and is still just as nuts as when they got him. I live upstairs from Marchant so Star spends most of his evenings with me.

Sorry to derail the thread, but I do loves them both to pieces!

Big hugs to Trio and Pheebs. Poor pup but lucky too to have such loving parents to make sure she is getting the best care possible. Glad you caught the hip problem early and behavioral advice sounds good too - good luck for the continued training

P.s. caught on on the pedigree dogs program the other night and was disgusted! I have always been a lover of more "dog-shaped" dogs & mongrels and disliked overbreeding, but the callousness of some breeders and the lack of awareness &/or control by the Kennel Club was disgraceful! Grrrr!

Me too Aitch. At the time I was minded to fetch pen and moan to my MP (first time I've felt that), but the anger had worn off next morning (as I thought might happen).

I didn't watch the program on pedigree dogs but I've been looking lately at a few animal rescue sites at dogs, and it's ridiculous just how many perfectly fine dogs are listed on there because the breeders just didn't want them for a variety of minor issues :/ So callous. Pedigree dogs have never really appealed to me, but they certainly don't now!
