I enjoyed all three, would be nice if they made 4 a bit darker with less humour and had Carnage in it!

Me too wyrel! But then if I didn't I think Picky would resent me
These type of films fit into my "non-thinking-action-like-fun-graphics" category which I can watch with a few G&T's, popcorn and not a care in the world! Easily pleased in this corner! |

Never rated any of the Spider-Man films, maybe if I was 12 I would appreciate them.

First two were great. The 2nd was better in some ways. The third suffered for a few reasons. Two many plot lines for one. The music didn't quite work because Raimi fell out with Danny Elfman so they bought in someone else. It was a mesh of Elfman's great work on Spidey 1 & 2 with some other totally different sounding music. It was clumsy. They really need to bring Elfman back for the 4th. I think Raimi is a great directory with a great sense of humour. Just look at the 2nd's rain drops keep falling on my head moment, even down to the freeze frame ending. He can do good characterisation too, which is the real key. But the third film I think just got lost. I think the 4th could be good because the plot lines from the first 3 are essentially tied up. MJ could be in it but at the same time maybe not.
