Afghanistan with the ISAF

Just saw this on digg and thought I'd share it. Some really powerful images in there especially the 2nd to last one.

Actually, I thought that image #7 "An Afghan boy holds his toy weapon as Belgian army soldiers of the ISAF patrol during a joint mission with German Bundeswehr army soldiers in Taloqan, west of Kunduz" was pretty powerful - and depressing

Kunduz is about as far away from Helmand and Kandahar as one can get in Afghanistan.

#26 is a phenomenal shot. #27 that looks like a normal computer joystick

Nice to see them go with hi-tech and robust solutions. #29 I can imagine is something you never get used to, poor wife and kid.
